sponge cake of my style

I made it last night and I was going to decorate it with vanilla frosting , they said they can’t wait for that it looks very delicious they want it now I had to cut it, mind you it my first attempt for sponge cake.

Ingredients:

750g cake flour
400ml milk
250g sugar
4 large eggs
250ml vegetable oil
1 cap caramel essence
1 cap lemon essence
5ml vanilla essence
30g baking powder
Drop of yellow food colour

Method:

Mix all wet then add dry ingredients and bake at 180 degreee on preheated oven 280degrees for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

Vanilla Frosting
500g powdered sugar
85g butter softened
5m vanilla essence
10ml milk

In a bowl mix powdered sugar and butter is g electric mixer on low speed, then stir in vanilla essence and milk then beat until frosting is smooth and spreadable.

Just a simple meal

boiled carrots until they are soft enough.

Boil your rice and make sure it’s well done.

Lettece add red & yellow pappers slice then and add sliced carrots onion for dressing I used this moyo dressing its nice for my gravy I just used red and yellow pepper.

Spring onion I’ve mix deffrent types of soups and add a little bit of salt for taste boilde potatoes until they done dice them add Nola tangy moyonnaise sprinkle with spring onion wala .

Melting moment:

Ingredients

2 cups flour
2 eggs
300g margarine
1 lid vanilla
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder

For dipping: (cooked)
10g cocoa powder
1 cup milk
3 tsbpn powdered sugar
3 cubes of margarine

Method

For chocolate dipping.
In your pot melt margarine. Add milk and powdered sugar then stir, add cocoa powder and keep starring for 10 minutes. It should look like amahewu. Let it cool after baking you dip in your chocolate and enjoy your cake.

soul food Umogodu nojeqe


Prepare ujeqe wakho as usual jusy grate some of your favourite veggies and add to your dough for a bit of colour

Mogodu :
Ox tripe, 1 tspn paprika, 1/2 onion, 1 tomato, 1 beefstock cube.

Cut it into desired pieces, add 4 cups of water, boil on high heat until extra soft. Keep adding water until it reaches desired softness.
After it has boiled soft, brown on low heat your onion, add tomato, parprika and beef stock, add tripe & continue frying for abiut 5-6 minutes. Remove from heat and enjoy, if you like spicy food you may add extra chillies.
