Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven and prepare your baking dish.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients for the crust and mix until crumbly. Press the mixture into the pan and bake until lightly golden.
  3. While the crust bakes, make the caramel layer by simmering sweetened condensed milk, brown sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in a saucepan.
  4. Pour the hot caramel over the baked crust and sprinkle with chopped pecans. Bake again until bubbly.
  5. Remove the bars from the oven and top with chocolate chips. Let them melt slightly before spreading into an even layer.
