It’s known for its bold flavor, satisfying texture, and comforting appeal.

Ingredients

For the steak bites:

  • 1 lb (450g) sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tsp dried parsley or fresh chopped parsley
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

For the potatoes:

  • 4–5 medium Yukon gold or baby potatoes, cut into wedges
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Extra red pepper flakes and parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare and Roast the Potatoes:

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • Toss potato wedges in olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Spread on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  • Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

2. Cook the Steak Bites:

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 2–3 minutes per side until nicely browned. Don’t overcrowd the pan—do it in batches if needed.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add butter, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes. Stir to coat the steak in the butter mixture for 1–2 minutes.
  • Season with salt, pepper, and parsley.

3. Plate and Serve:

  • Serve the steak bites hot with roasted potatoes on the side.
  • Garnish with additional red pepper flakes and parsley if desired.
