STEAMED CHOCOLATE MOIST CAKE

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE FILLING

buttercream

1 cup soften Unsalted butter (pwede rin compound butter)

1 cup powdered sugar

3 Tbsp Milk (fresh, evap or full cream milk)

Vanilla (optional)

Beat lang po ang butter hanggang sa maging cream texture tas dahan dahan ilagay yung sugar tas beat, dahan dahan din yung milk.

Beat hanggang mag double volume. I add yung vanilla. Sa gawa ko gusto ko spreadable kasi filling namn sya.

Ganache

Chocolate chips pwede rin ibng chocolate and cream (ginamitan ko lang all purpose cream)

Cake

1 cup sugar

1 3/4 cups Cake flour (pwede rin all purpose)

1 cup Cocoa powder( dutched)

1 1/2 tbsp baking powder

Vanilla

1 Tbsp coffee powder(dissolve in 1 cup water)

Salt

1 cup milk(evap or fresh)

1/2 cup oil (gamit ko veg oil)

2 Large eggs

Mix and sift all the dry ingredients

Mix all the liquid ingredients

Gradually combine the dry and liquid ingredients. Mix mix mix..

But don’t over mix

Transfer into a non stick round cake or any cake pan. 

Prepare the steamer (kumukulo dapat ang tubig)

Steam for 25 to 30 mins

Toothpick test po sya para malaman.

Rest nyo pagkatapos maluto saka alisin ang cake.

Design ng cake binili ko lang po sa grocery.
