Mutton Curry

Ingredients
1 kg mutton pieces on bone
1 large onion chopped
2 cinnamon stick
1 star aniseed
1 tsp fennel seeds
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
2 tsp Kashmiri chilli powder
2 tsp curry powder
1 tsp coriander and cumin
2 bay leaf
1 large tomato chopped
5 med potatoes in halves
500 ml water
3 tsp oil
Salt to taste
Coriander for garnish

Method
Heat oil. Add cinnamon stick, star aniseed and fennel.
Add onions and fry until brown.
Add ginger garlic and curry leaves
Add spices
Add meat and salt. Mix well.
Cook for 20 minutes until juices from meat extract.
Add 250 ml of water and cook for further 20 minutes
Add potatoes and tomatoes and 250 ml water
Cook for further 20 minutes until potatoes are soft.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot.
