FISH IN A CREAMY SAUCE RECIPE

Ingredients :

4 Deep water hake
60ml butter
15ml oil
125ml cream
1/2 a cup of Spinash
60ml Grated cheddar cheese
Salt and pepper
1/2 onion, diced
1/2 teaspoon garlic
1 tablespoon chillies
6 cherry tomatoes, diced

Method :

In a large pan melt butter with a bit of oil over a medium heat.
Add the fish and let it cook for for 5 minutes on each sides, transfer to a plate and set it aside.
In the same pan cook onions, garlic and chillies and cherry tomatoes.
Slowly add cream and cheese until smooth.
Season with salt and pepper and add spinash and continue cooking until wilted.
Add the fish back in the pan for 2 minutes. Enjoy

PASTA SALAD WITH AVOCADO RECIPE

Ingredients :

-Half a cup of pasta of your choice
-5 cucumber rings diced
-1/2 cup sliced carrot
-1/2 cup diced celery
-1/2 cup diced red pepper
-1/2 cup sliced black olives
-1/4 cup diced red onion
-Half diced avocado
1/3 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon lemon juice 
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon ground black pepper
Half a cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Instructions :

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook pasta in the boiling water until cooked through. Drain and cool.
Mix pasta, carrot, celery, , red pepper, black olives, and red onion together in a large bowl.
Whisk avocado, olive oil, lemon juice, parsley , salt and black pepper together in a separate bowl until smooth; stir into pasta salad to coat; garnish with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley.

NB:Strictly use olive oil for this recipe .

Pap served with beef bones and greens.

Bones: Boil until cooked, add onions together with curry, stir a bit until soft. Add tomatoes, let simmer, stirring in between until well blended with meat. You can add chicken or beef stock/cubes. Let cook until you have a consistency gravy.

Greens: cut your greens, heat butter in a pot, add greens, salt and stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Using butter makes greens more softer and gives a good flavour.

I cut my meat in small cubes boiled them until tender,added bbq spice,garlic,then fried it until brown,i then added cubed carrots and green beans,i chopped in green peppers,i Lt it fry for a few minutes then added brown onion soup mixed with a bit of flour..

Then added already boiled potatoes..For the dough..I used 4 cups flour,1 small cup oil,a bit of salt,white pepper,1 egg,1tsp baking powder,and milk,i mixed everything together,roll out the dough,make round shapes,roll them again,add your filling,close up your pie,and brush with egg bake until it’s a bit brown.

1/4 cup sugar 
2 1/4 Tbs dry yeast
60g margarine
1tsp salt
2eggs
2cups warm milk
2TBs melted butter

Method 
Mix warm milk sugar and yeast let it foam for 5minutes then add margarine, beaten eggs and salt then add it to flour then knead ur dough until soft and pliable the grease your bowl with oil let it prove for 1hour then shove it back again let it rise aggain then seperate into small balls let them prove again then eggwash them bake for 15 minutes then use the melted butter to brush ur scones when they are baked.

Home made rotis

Roti recipe
3 cups flour
3TBS oil
1tsp salt
250 gram butter( for rolling over your dough)
Warm water (enough to make a pliable dough)

Method
Mix salt, flour and oil until it resembles bread crumbs, then add water mix ur dough well until your hands get clean then leave it covered with a clean kitchen towel for 30minutes, then make small balls, on a clean surface spread ur butter and using a rolling pin make rotis size of ur round dinner plate then using a non stick pan put in a drop of oil then toss your rotis for hardly two minutes

Filling 
Chicken fillets 
Sweet chillie marinade(steers
Prego sauce
Lemon and herb marinade
Chillie hot flakes
Salt and pepper

Method 
Marinade your fillets and let them rest for 2 hours then grill then for 30 minutes on your highesest oven heat then remoce from oven.

Dressing

Method
Put dressing of ur choice then put washed lettuce, cheese, chicken fillets, cucumber and red peppers then fold it and enjoy

Drumettes
Wash ur chicken then Season your drumettes with salt and pepper and chillie flakes then grill them for 30minutes then remove from oven and drain water

Basting sauce
Mix tomato sauce, barbaque sauce and Worcester sauce and chillie flakes then making a basting sauce then brush it to your drummetes and put then in ur oven for 15 minutes more then remove and bast with sauce again and serve.

Dombolo recipe
Clean hands
12 cups flour
2 packets yeast (if e too much for u reduce)
2 grated carrots 
Chopped parsley
125ml sugar
60ml salt 
Warm water (kala ngamehlo)
Oil 60ml

Method
Mix flour, sugar, salt, carrots and parsley then add yeast mix it well then add oil and water knead it well until it forms a soft ball avoiding it to be sticky then let it rest. For 2 hours to rise.

Method 
Wash your bones then put water covering your bones, then add salt let it boil for 20 minutes then add chicken stock powder, cinnamon sticks and rosemary close your saucepan and let it boil for another 20minutes then add knorrox cubes, black and white pepper, chillie flakes, garlic granules and smoked paprika let it boil for few minutes then add onions and green pepper then add soup as is dp not mix it with water. Then with ur clean hands make balls from ur dough and put it on top of ur stew reducing heat to avoid burning let it cook for 30 minutes and serve.

Ingredients 
Chicken gizzards(cleaned)
Onions
Baby carrots 
Green pepper
Supreme curry powder(amapelepele)
Paprika (amapelepele)

Method
Wash and clean your gizzards and boil them with cinnamon sticks, bay leaves and salt and pepper for 1 and half hours

Then put oil in ur pan and fry onions and green pepper, garlic powder then add curry powder, paprika and salt and pepper. Add water (250ml) and peri peri sauce then add gizzards reduce heat let it cook on low heat then add garlic herbs and chicken stock powder then add pepperdews and baby carrots.

Recipe of Homemade Healthy Bread

Required Ingredients:

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 pound of blanched almond flour
  • 1 pound of coconut flour
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon of sea salt
  • Half a glass of water
  • 1/3 glass of coconut oil, fondue

Instructions:

Start with heating the oven at 350°F. Next, start preparing the dough: mix the baking powder with the almond and coconut flour and then include the salt. In a separate bowl whisk the eggs and pour the water and coconut oil. Combine both mixtures: the dry one and the liquid one and leave the dough to stand for 1 to 2 minutes.

Transfer the dough in a greased bread pan and in the end smooth the top of the mixture with a spoon. Place it in the oven and bake it for 50 minutes, that is, till the bread turns golden brown. Remove it from the oven, and leave it to cool off and then take it out from the pan. Your bread is ready for consumption, cut it into slices and enjoy its taste.
