Chicken, creamy spinach, grilled potatoes!

Chicken drumsticks

Spinach

Potatoes

Cream

Carrots

Cherry tomatoes

Garlic flakes, Chutney, BBQ spice, olive oil, mixed herbs

Veggie seasoning!

Coat cut potato potato pieces with olive oil and Sprinkle veggie seasoning! Pop them into the electric grill at medium heat! Remove when brown. 

Mix: quarter glass olive oil, one glass Chutney, 1 spoon mixed herbs, one spoon BBQ. 

Pop the chicken into the  the oven as is (180°C)… When it starts to turn brown remove it and coat it with mix and Sprinkle garlic flakes! Pop it back into the oven at low heat this time around! Remove when it’s turns a redish brown. 

Cut the spinach into fine pieces and shrink in a pot coated with olive oil! when it’s shrinking, add the cream and mix… How much cream depends on how creamy u want it to be! 

Cut the carrots into strips using the a vegetable peeler or flat side of a grater… Use a toothpick to hold everything together. Place the cherry tomato ontop.

BASIC SPONGE CAKE

Ingridients
125g bakin margarine
250ml white sugar
3 extra large eggs
5ml vanilla essence
500ml cake flour
150ml milk
15ml bakin powder
1/2 t salt

DIRECTIONS
1. Preheat oven to 180. Grease nd linr0e 2 × 20cm bakin tins
2. Cream margarine nd sugar together until light nd creamy. Add vanilla essence
3. Add eggs 1 at a time beating well after each addition
4. Sift flour, bakin powder together
5. Fold into the creamed mixture, alternately wth da milk.
6. Spoon mixture into da prepzred cake tins nd bake fr 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown or scewer inserted cums out clean.
7. Leave in pans fr few mintes b4 turning out to a wire rack to cool completely.

STEAMED CHOCOLATE MOIST CAKE

INGREDIENTS

FOR THE FILLING

buttercream

1 cup soften Unsalted butter (pwede rin compound butter)

1 cup powdered sugar

3 Tbsp Milk (fresh, evap or full cream milk)

Vanilla (optional)

Beat lang po ang butter hanggang sa maging cream texture tas dahan dahan ilagay yung sugar tas beat, dahan dahan din yung milk.

Beat hanggang mag double volume. I add yung vanilla. Sa gawa ko gusto ko spreadable kasi filling namn sya.

Ganache

Chocolate chips pwede rin ibng chocolate and cream (ginamitan ko lang all purpose cream)

Cake

1 cup sugar

1 3/4 cups Cake flour (pwede rin all purpose)

1 cup Cocoa powder( dutched)

1 1/2 tbsp baking powder

Vanilla

1 Tbsp coffee powder(dissolve in 1 cup water)

Salt

1 cup milk(evap or fresh)

1/2 cup oil (gamit ko veg oil)

2 Large eggs

Mix and sift all the dry ingredients

Mix all the liquid ingredients

Gradually combine the dry and liquid ingredients. Mix mix mix..

But don’t over mix

Transfer into a non stick round cake or any cake pan. 

Prepare the steamer (kumukulo dapat ang tubig)

Steam for 25 to 30 mins

Toothpick test po sya para malaman.

Rest nyo pagkatapos maluto saka alisin ang cake.

Design ng cake binili ko lang po sa grocery.

Last nIght supper creamy samp

Last nyts supper creamy samp, beef stew or curry angazi nam, glaized carrots and green beans and beetroot

Creamy sam recipe

5cups samp

1 sachet mushrooom sauce

1 sachet cheese sauce

Mushrooms chopped

250g rama original

2 sachet aromat

250ml fresh cream

Method 

Boil ur samp uuntil it is tender then add aromat and rama  let it simmer for few minutes add both sachet and stir then add fresh cream and lasly  add mushrooms  and let it simmer for 10 minutes and serve.

Beef curry recipe

Onions

Oil (enough to cover base of ur pot)

Green cardamon 

Cloves

Ginger and garlic paste

Barbarque sauce (1cup)

30ml curry paste

2cups water

Rajah flavourful cury powder

Cinnamon sticks 

Smoked paprika

Brown onions soup

Beef stock

Curry leaves

Cape malay curry(bought ka Woolworths)

Steak and chops spice

Method

Pour oil in ur pot then add onions and curry leaves let it cook until tender then add curry powders, paprika and cinnamon sticks, then add curry paste, barbaque sauce and water then add beef cubes. Let it cook on low heat then add steak and chops stirring occasionally  then add beef stock and lastly add brown onion soup

Glazed carrots and green beans

Boil water and sugar and 1 tsp of viniger then add carrots let it cook for 8 minutes then drain water and set aside thwn  in a separate pan boil green beans for 5minutes then drain water and then add 1 Tsp of rama original and crushed garlic and veggie spice let it cook for 3minutes and serve.

Some days you just get bored

Some days you just get bored of the regular plantain and egg sauce and just decide to do it a different way.

•Fried plantain

•Eggs

•onion (if you are allergic, you can leave this out)

•butter or oil (I used butter cos I’m extra with food😉)

•green chilli 

•seasoning

The pics show the procedure after arranging all in your pan,use medium heat then flip the other side to cook also, and sure you can add anything else you like to your taste🙂. 

Goes well with coffee, you can take a juice or just wash it all down with water🤷‍♀️.  I’ve finished eating all that so pls dont ask for address 😋😛😂. One luv❤

Do you know that you can make bole in your kitchen using the frying pan?
Oya siddon make i teach you

1. Peel your ripe or unripe plantain
2. Make those incisions with a knife
3. Grease diligently with red oil
4. Wrap in a foil
5. Assemble them in a pan.. Any pan will do
6. Use a very low heat
7. Allow to heat for 11mins.. Heat both sides
8. Unwrap foil
9.The roasted plantain is ready to be served. Dip the roasted plantains in the pepper sauce to eat.
10. Wash it down with a chilled fruit drink.
11.Then go and take a nap because that’s the only thing you want to do after this meal.

Jeqe recipe

Done and collected by my valued customer, ngoba yena beynqenela ukwenza so Mina I charged her a fortune ingredients were on me

Jeqe recipe
15 cups flour
4 cups grated cheddar cheese
3 cups finely chopped spinach
2 packets of dry yeast
250 ml sugar
80ml salt
125ml oil(optional)
Warm water(kala ngamehlo)
2red peppers

Method
Hlanganisa all the dry ingredients together (except water) and then mix well, then add warm water uxove kahle until it is well kneaded, put in a warm place for it to rise and shove back for three or 4 times bese ufaka on ur greased coffee mugs and cook for 30minutes

Peri peri sauce
Steak and chops
Barbaque sauce
Hot chillie flakes
Soy sauce

Method
Marinade your meat with all the ingredients above the refrigerate for two to three hours and grill for 45 minutes on ur highest oven heat.

Delicious Egg less chocolate mousse cake | No Bake Dessert Recipes

Easy Chocolate Mousse Cake Ingredients: 
  • Evaporated Milk- 370 ml (1.5 cup)
  • Cream or Whipping Cream- 250 ml All Purpose
  • White Sugar- 1/2 cup 
  • Unsweetened Cocoa Powder + extra for dusting- 3 tbsp 
  • Cornstarch- 3 tbsp
  • Chocolate Drops or Darl Chocolate- 3/4 Cup 
PROCEDURE:

First of all, Combine all ingredients except chocolate drops, mix well. Strain to remove lumps and Cook until soft boil.second… Add chocolate drops or dark chocolate. Continue cooking until smooth and thick.Pour in a 7″x 3″ loaf pan lined with baking paper.Cool for few minutes and chill 6 hours or over night.Remove from the mold and dust with good quality cocoa powder.Slice using a hot knife and serve! its ready guys.

RECIPES FOR MEAT PIE

•Plain Flour — 1 Kg
•Baking Powder — 1 teaspoon
•Margarine — 500g
•2 Eggs
•Salt — 2 pinches
•Cold Water – ½ cup or milk

Meat Pie Filling:
•2 medium-sized Irish potatoes
•2 medium-sized carrots
•500g of minced meat
•1 medium-sized onion
•1 cooking spoon of Vegetable Oil
•Seasoning – 2 Maggi / Knorr cubes and 1 teaspoon of thyme
•2 tablespoons of plain flour
•Cold water — 1 cup
•Salt — to taste

•1 egg (for glazing the pies)

Preparation :
A-Making the Filling:

Step 1: Heat the oil and lightly brown the onions

Step 2: Add the minced meat and fry until brown, season the meat with the thyme, curry powder and the bouillon cube. Then add a cup of water and let it cook for 5 min.

Step 3: Add the carrots and potatoes with 1 cup of water and salt to your taste.

Cover the pot and let it cook till everything is tender (around 15 min) .

Step 4: Dissolve the flour in some water and add in the filling. This will thicken the filling.

Stop the heat and let the filling completely cool down.

B-Making the dough:
Step 1: Add the flour in a bowl with the baking powder and a pinch of salt. Then mix well.

Step 2: Add the margarine and mix thoroughly until the mixture looks more like bread crumbs.

Step 3: Gradually add water while mixing until you get
Smooth dough

Step 4: Roll out on a flat surface with rolling pin and cut into desired size wth a round cutter

Step 5: Add the filling, fold & brush eggs on the inner side of the pastry to bind

Step 6: Use fork to press the edges together or use a meat pie cutter if you have

Step7: Brush egg on it to achieve a golden color when baked
Once you’re done set on greased baking tray and put in the preheat oven.

Once the meatpie is light brown, it is ready
