4 eggs
1 Cup of sugar
1 Cup grated carrots
1 packet bicarbonate of soda
1 bottle of Fruit mince meat
500 g margarine
2 teaspoons of Vanilla essence

Delicious Cake

BAKING INGREDIENTS
170 g unsalted butter – softened
170 g caster sugar
4 eggs – beaten
1 tsp vanilla extract
170 g self raising flour
2 tbsp milk
1 tbsp cocoa powder
DECORATING INGREDIENTS
4 tbsp apricot jam
500 g Renshaw Original White Marzipan
10 g cocoa powder

INSTRUCTIONS
BAKING INSTRUCTIONS:
DECORATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / gas mark 4.
Step 2
Butter a 20cm square cake tin and line the base
with greased baking parchment.
Step 3
Divide the tin in half with a 30cm strip of foil
folded into a double thickness.
Step 4
Divide the bake ingredients in half to make two
batters, one plain and one chocolate. For the
chocolate batter remove 1 table spoon of flour
and replace with 1 table spoon of cocoa powder.
Step 5
Beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla,
flour and milk until smooth.
Step 6
Beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, flour,
cocoa powder add milk until smooth
Step 7
Spoon one side of the tin with the plain batter
and the other side with the chocolate batter.
Step 8
Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the center
springs back to the touch
Step 9
Cool for 5 minutes then turn out onto a cooling
rack.
Step 10
To assemble: lay one piece of cake on top of the
other and trim to the same size.
Step 11
Cut in half lengthways to give 2 long strips of
each colour.
Step 12
Warm the apricot jam and sieve.
Step 13
Lay a strip of Chocolate cake on a board and
brush the top and sides with jam; lay a plain
strip next to it and do the same.
Step 14
Arrange the other 2 strips on top.
Step 15
Brush with jam all over.
Step 16
Blend the cocoa powder into the marzipan by
gently kneading it until the cocoa power is
evenly mixed in.
Step 17
Roll the marzipan into a 20x30cm rectangle.
Trim a straight edge.
Step 18
Place the cake at one end of the rectangle and
tightly wrap in the marzipan.
Step 19
Trim the ends with a knife to finish.

BANANA AND COCONUT GULGULAS

GULGULAS 
1 cup plain flour 
1 cup self raising flour 
1 egg
Pinch of salt
2 small..bananas mashed
Milk 
1 tblsp butter
1/2 cup dessicated coconut 
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar

Mix banana sugar butter eggs and salt. Mix well add flour and make batter using milk gradually, sorry didnt measure. Batter should be thick not runny. Let it rest for 10mins. Add baking soda and mix well. 
Deep fry in med to hot oil till its golden brown.

Easy 3-Ingredient Cake

Ingredients:

Whipped cream powder (75 grams),1 cup of cold milk (200 ml.),1 packet of biscuit.Process of Easy 3-Ingredient Cake Recipe

For the easy 3-ingredient cake, first prepare the cream. Mix the whipped cream and the milk until it stiff peaks form. Don’t over-mix. If you let it go too long, it will become liquid-like again.

Spread the whipped cream on a biscuit. Cover it up with another biscuit and place it upright into long serving platter. Again spread the whipped cream on a biscuit and place it next to the other biscuits into long serving platter. Until the biscuits are finished, go on.

After the biscuits are finished, cover the biscuit cake with the whipped cream left. Decorate your cake how you like. Then put your cake into the fridge for 3 or 4 hours.

Then take it out and slice it diagonally. Your family and friends will love it. Enjoy!

Note: 1. If you clean the knife each time you slice the cake, your slices look more beautiful.

  1. You can sprinkle coconut and cocoa powder and some with chocolate sauce, fruits, hazelnut, peanut etc.
  2. Don’t worry about the softness of your biscuits. Whipped cream makes them soft enough. Don’t try to make soft with milk.

SOFT MAGWINYA/ PUFF PUFF

Ingredients
4 cups flour
1 1/3 cups warm water
2 tablespoon sugar
1 packet yeast
pinch of salt

Toppings
100g grated cheese
100g sliced polony
handful of lettuce

Method
Dissolve the yeast in warm water
In a large bowl mix flour,sugar and salt ,and the yeast mixture and mix properly
Knead the dough for about 5- 8 mins, cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm place for about 40 mins
Heat the oil on medium heat (the oil should not be too hot or not hot enough either
Slightly knead the dough again and shape into balls and deep fry until golden brown
When done drain on paper towels
Cut amagwinya in half,add cheese,polony,lettuce and serve.

Butter Cookies Recipe

Ingredients
9 oz (250g) butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
2 cups flour

Directions
Preheat oven to 350F(180C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Place butter in a bowl and use a hand mixer to mix until creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and continue mixing for another 12 minutes until the mixture becomes white and creamy.
Using spatula incorporate flour into the butter until completely combined.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag fitted with a 1M (1/2 inch – 1cm) star tip.
Form cookies on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the base begins to brown.
Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.

Note
This ingredients makes about 60pcs cookies.

NODDLES WITH MIXED VEGGIES

Ingredients
1 packet noodles
1/2 cup mixed veggies
1 teaspoon spice for rice
1 tablespoon oil

Method
Cook the noodles according to the package instructions
In another pot heat the oil and fry the veggies for about 5 mins,and the spice and stir a little bit
Finally add the noodles to the veggies and mix completely
Serve.

INSTANT POT GINGER SOY CHICKEN

Serves 3 | Prep Time: 10 Minutes | Cook Time: 8 Minutes

Ingredients:
• 1 1/2 lbs chicken wings (drummettes and wingettes) and drumsticks
• 1 tablespoon oil
• 1 inch piece ginger, peeled and sliced into pieces
• 2 tablespoons soy sauce
• 3 tablespoon sweet soy sauce or kecap manis
• 3 dashes ground white pepper
• 1/2 cup water
• 1 teaspoon sesame oil
• 1 stalk scallion, cut into 2-inch lengths.

POOR MAN’S STEW

Ingredients :
1 lb. ground beef, browned and drained
1.5 lbs potatoes, diced large
3 carrots, sliced
1 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, minced (I had this on hand already)
1 (6-oz.) can tomato paste
2 cups water
1 tsp. salt
¼ tsp. pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. dried oregano

Directions :

Add the cooked ground beef, potatoes, carrots, onions, and garlic to a 5-quart or larger slow cooker.
In a small bowl whisk together the tomato paste, water, salt, pepper, onion powder and oregano. Pour this mixture over everything in the slow cooker. Stir.
Cover and cook on LOW for 6-7 hours, without opening the lid during the cooking time.
Serve with buttered sandwich bread.

ROAST CHICKEN WITH VEGGIES AND HERBS

INGREDIENTS
8 chicken pieces
1 cup blue cheese sauce
1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Potatoes, peeled and cut in half
Baby carrots
3 tablespoons melted butter
1 teaspoon lemon and herb seasoning
1 cup chopped spinach stalks
2 tablespoons chopped corriander

METHOD
in a small bowl, combine the blue cheese sauce and barbecue sauce. Add the chicken and let it marinade for two hours.
In a small pot boil the potatoes with a bit of water for 5 minutes. Once cooked remove from the heat and discard the liquid.
Add the melted butter, baby carrots, and spinach stalks.
Mix all the ingredients together until well coated with butter.
Place all the chicken pieces in a baking dish and scatter the veggies all around the chicken pieces.
Season with lemon and herb on. And scatter the chopped coriander all over the dish.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for 1h30minutes until the veggies and chicken are tender; and also a bit charred on top.
Remove from the heat and serve warm with a side dish of your choice.
