I used 200g margarine,200g castor sugar, 5 eggs, 3 cups cake flour,3 tsp baking powder,a lid of vanilla essence and a cup of buttermilk ( added a lid of vinegar to fresh milk)
Sift the flour and baking powder together and set aside. Mix the sugar and margarine until light and fluffy, add eggs one at a time while mixing. Add the four mixture and continue mixing. Add the buttermilk and vanilla essence and mix.place in cupcake tray lined with casings and bake in a preheated oven (150°c) until golden brown .

INSTRUCTIONS BAKING INSTRUCTIONS: DECORATING INSTRUCTIONS: Step 1 Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / gas mark 4. Step 2 Butter a 20cm square cake tin and line the base with greased baking parchment. Step 3 Divide the tin in half with a 30cm strip of foil folded into a double thickness. Step 4 Divide the bake ingredients in half to make two batters, one plain and one chocolate. For the chocolate batter remove 1 table spoon of flour and replace with 1 table spoon of cocoa powder. Step 5 Beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, flour and milk until smooth. Step 6 Beat together the butter, sugar, eggs, flour, cocoa powder add milk until smooth Step 7 Spoon one side of the tin with the plain batter and the other side with the chocolate batter. Step 15 Brush with jam all over. Step 16 Blend the cocoa powder into the marzipan by gently kneading it until the cocoa power is evenly mixed in. Step 17 Roll the marzipan into a 20x30cm rectangle. Trim a straight edge. Step 18 Place the cake at one end of the rectangle and tightly wrap in the marzipan. Step 19 Trim the ends with a knife to finish.
1 cup plain flour
1 cup self raising flour
Pinch of salt
2 small..bananas mashed
1 tblsp butter
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 cup sugar
Mix banana sugar butter eggs and salt. Mix well add flour and make batter using milk gradually, sorry didnt measure. Batter should be thick not runny. Let it rest for 10mins. Add baking soda and mix well.
Deep fry in med to hot oil till its golden brown.

You can sprinkle coconut and cocoa powder and some with chocolate sauce, fruits, hazelnut, peanut etc.
Don’t worry about the softness of your biscuits. Whipped cream makes them soft enough. Don’t try to make soft with milk.
4 cups flour
1 1/3 cups warm water
2 tablespoon sugar
1 packet yeast
pinch of salt
100g grated cheese
100g sliced polony

Dissolve the yeast in warm water
In a large bowl mix flour,sugar and salt ,and the yeast mixture and mix properly
Knead the dough for about 5- 8 mins, cover with a damp cloth and place in a warm place for about 40 mins
Heat the oil on medium heat (the oil should not be too hot or not hot enough either
Slightly knead the dough again and shape into balls and deep fry until golden brown
When done drain on paper towels
Cut amagwinya in half,add cheese,polony,lettuce and serve.
9 oz (250g) butter, room temperature
1/2 cup (60g) powdered sugar
1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
2 cups flour
Preheat oven to 350F(180C). Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
Place butter in a bowl and use a hand mixer to mix until creamy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract and continue mixing for another 12 minutes until the mixture becomes white and creamy.
Using spatula incorporate flour into the butter until completely combined.
Transfer the batter into a piping bag fitted with a 1M (1/2 inch – 1cm) star tip.
Form cookies on the prepared baking sheets.
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the base begins to brown.
Let the cookies cool completely on a cooling rack before serving.
This ingredients makes about 60pcs cookies.
